Connect your bank to the PaciPay payment gateway as a configuration exercise — not a development project.
PaciPay is a Pacific-owned payment gateway: local merchants accept online payments at
1.5% on local rails, with client funds safeguarded in a trust account at a partner bank.
PaciBank is how your bank supports that — with almost no IT effort, and with
nothing ever installed into your core banking system.
Four integration levels — start with zero effort
Level 0Oversight portal — available now
Nothing to install. Your staff receive read-only dashboard access: settlement volumes,
safeguarded trust balances versus merchant entitlements, itemized payments, and
reconciliation status — visibility no card processor gives a partner bank today.
Level 1File exchange — the pilot
The PaciBank Connector runs on a server inside your own network, under your
control. Your team drops in the statement exports your corporate banking channel
already produces (ISO 20022 camt.053, SWIFT MT940, or CSV); the connector reconciles every
settlement and prepares payout files that your staff review, sign, and
upload through your own internet banking under your own
dual control. The connector holds no bank credentials and cannot move money.
Level 2API adapter
When your bank has a host-to-host or corporate API channel, the same connector automates
the Level 1 cycle through it. No re-installation, no new risk surface.
Level 3National rail — future
Built ISO 20022-native, so when Tonga's new National Payment System arrives, PaciBank is
your merchants' and your bank's on-ramp — not another migration.
Security posture, in plain language
Runs in your perimeter, on a host you approve; fully offline mode available for air-gapped policy.
Reads only files your staff choose to export; produces only files your staff approve under maker–checker.
Every action recorded in a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit log both organisations can verify independently.
Every file batch carries SHA-256 integrity manifests; software delivered as a signed, hash-verified package.
Secrets encrypted at rest; all traffic to PaciPay authenticated and encrypted; no auto-update, no remote access.
Controls mapped to ISO 27001 and SWIFT CSP-style benchmarks; maintained by Tonga AI with free updates and 24/7 automated monitoring.
What PaciBank never does
Never installs into, or connects to, your core banking system.
Never holds a bank password, credential, or card number (no PAN anywhere, by construction).
Never initiates a payment — money moves only inside your bank's own controls.
Honest status: PaciBank is in its pilot phase under PaciPay's engagement
with the National Reserve Bank of Tonga's FinTech Regulatory Sandbox framework. Technical
documentation — the bank integration guide, the security & compliance whitepaper, and
source review — is shared with bank evaluation teams under mutual NDA.
What your bank gains
The deposit and settlement relationship: trust and operating accounts, float, FX flow.
A modern answer for your business customers asking for online payments — at local-rails pricing.
Independent daily reconciliation of safeguarded client money — a stronger story for your regulator, not a riskier one.
For the pilot partner bank: no integration fee — PaciBank is provided and maintained at no cost.
